At Immediate MedCare and Family Doctors, we're more than just a primary care provider; we're your partner in health. Specializing in senior care, our team is committed to offering comprehensive medical services tailored to the unique needs of older adults. With state-of-the-art facilities and a compassionate approach, we ensure every visit is informative, effective, and comforting. Whether you need routine check-ups, chronic disease management, or preventive care, our skilled professionals are here to support your health and wellness goals.
Can I keep my specialist?
We work with specialists in your insurance network. Our team of referral coordinators and providers can help you navigate these networks to connect you with the best specialist for your needs.
What is Value-Based Care?
Our providers participate in a style of care called "Value-Based Care". Traditionally, health care providers are paid based on how many care services they provide, not the quality. That didn't work for us. We wanted to be advocates for our patients, in all aspects, with their health and wellbeing as our top priority. With the value-based care (VBC) model, our providers are compensated for how well this care works. It is proven to have better outcomes for patients and much higher patient satisfaction.
What if I'm not ready to switch doctors right now?
We want all of our patients to be informed and participate in their care! Call our office to schedule an office tour or to meet our providers.
Do you accept Medicaid?
-
We accept Medicaid only as secondary insurance to your primary Humana Medicare Advantage plan. Insurances can vary by office, for the most up-to-date information, call your local office.
How do I become a patient?
Call our office, or fill in the form on our "Contact Us" page! We will get you set up with new patient paperwork, and get your records from your previous provider.
Do you accept Medicare?
We accept Original Medicare, Humana Medicare Advantage, and supplements.
MD or DO?
-
There are two types of complete physicians, D.O. and M.D.
-
Both M.D.s and D.O.s base diagnosis and treatments on scientifically proven conclusions.
-
Both attend four years of Medical School plus a residency program.
-
Both take the MCAT and go through a rigorous application process.
-
Both are licensed by the same licensing boards.
-
Both can choose to practice in any specialty of medicine.
-
D.O.s are also trained in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine.
I'm confused about my insurance benefits.
We accept Original Medicare, Humana Medicare Advantage, and supplements. If you have questions about navigating your benefits we have team members available to assist you or connect you with trusted insurance agents.
